Overview
At Scentscientists, we take pride in providing the highest quality fragrance materials and packaging every order with care.
Due to the nature of our products — perfume oils, aroma chemicals, and essential oils — returns are limited for hygiene and safety reasons.
Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and product integrity, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:
Fragrance oils, aroma chemicals, and essential oils
Any opened or used products
Samples or partial bottles
Items damaged after delivery
Sale or clearance items
These items cannot be restocked once they’ve left our controlled environment.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@scentscientists.com.
Include:
Your order number
Photos of the packaging and affected item(s)
We will review and, if applicable, arrange a replacement or refund.
Returns (if approved)
If a return is authorised (for example, an unopened and unused product sent in error), you will receive return instructions via email.
Please do not send any products back without prior approval, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was on our part.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Please note:
Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
Lost Parcels / Non-Delivery
If your parcel is returned to us due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address
Refusal to pay customs duties
Failure to collect from a depot or customs office
We can resend it once it arrives back, but reshipping costs will apply.
If you prefer a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted.
